For the cut-out style your photo is reduced in size, stripped of location and camera data, and sent once through our web host (ALL-INKL) to FAN's own cut-out server (hosted by netcup), both in Germany. The background is removed and the photo is discarded as soon as the answer is back: it exists there only for those seconds, in memory and short-lived temporary files, and is never written to a store or a log.
